قَالَ رَبِّ ٱشْرَحْ لِى صَدْرِى وَيَسِّرْ لِىٓ أَمْرِى وَٱحْلُلْ عُقْدَةً مِّن لِّسَانِى يَفْقَهُوا۟ قَوْلِى وَٱجْعَل لِّى وَزِيرًا مِّنْ أَهْلِى هَـٰرُونَ أَخِى ٱشْدُدْ بِهِۦٓ أَزْرِى وَأَشْرِكْهُ فِىٓ أَمْرِى كَىْ نُسَبِّحَكَ كَثِيرًا وَنَذْكُرَكَ كَثِيرًا إِنَّكَ كُنتَ بِنَا بَصِيرًا قَالَ قَدْ أُوتِيتَ سُؤْلَكَ يَـٰمُوسَىٰ

(Moses) said: My Lord! relieve my mind And ease my task for me; And loose a knot from my tongue, That they may understand my saying. Appoint for me a henchman from my folk, Aaron, my brother. Confirm my strength with him And let him share my task, That we may glorify Thee much And much remember Thee. Lo! Thou art ever Seeing us. He said: Thou art granted thy request, O Moses.

فَأَتْبَعُوهُم مُّشْرِقِينَ فَلَمَّا تَرَٰٓءَا ٱلْجَمْعَانِ قَالَ أَصْحَـٰبُ مُوسَىٰٓ إِنَّا لَمُدْرَكُونَ قَالَ كَلَّآ ۖ إِنَّ مَعِىَ رَبِّى سَيَهْدِينِ فَأَوْحَيْنَآ إِلَىٰ مُوسَىٰٓ أَنِ ٱضْرِب بِّعَصَاكَ ٱلْبَحْرَ ۖ فَٱنفَلَقَ فَكَانَ كُلُّ فِرْقٍ كَٱلطَّوْدِ ٱلْعَظِيمِ وَأَزْلَفْنَا ثَمَّ ٱلْـَٔاخَرِينَ وَأَنجَيْنَا مُوسَىٰ وَمَن مَّعَهُۥٓ أَجْمَعِينَ ثُمَّ أَغْرَقْنَا ٱلْـَٔاخَرِينَ إِنَّ فِى ذَٰلِكَ لَـَٔايَةً ۖ وَمَا كَانَ أَكْثَرُهُم مُّؤْمِنِينَ وَإِنَّ رَبَّكَ لَهُوَ ٱلْعَزِيزُ ٱلرَّحِيمُ

And they overtook them at sunrise. And when the two hosts saw each other, those with Moses said: Lo! we are indeed caught. He said: Nay, verily! for lo! my Lord is with me. He will guide me. Then We inspired Moses, saying: Smite the sea with thy staff. And it parted, and each part was as a mountain vast. Then brought We near the others to that place. And We saved Moses and those with him, every one; And We drowned the others. Lo! herein is indeed a portent, yet most of them are not believers. And lo, thy Lord! He is indeed the Mighty, the Merciful.
